तस्माद्‌ यत्नात्‌ प्रतीक्षन्ते कालस्योदयमागतम्‌ । न हि ते नाशमृच्छेयुरिति पश्याम्यहं धिया,“अतः मैं अपनी बुद्धि और अनुभवकी दृष्टिसे यह देखता हूँ कि पाण्डवलोग अपने अनुकूल समयके आनेकी प्रतीक्षा कर रहे हैं; वे नष्ट नहीं हो सकते

tasmād yatnāt pratīkṣante kālasyodayam āgatam | na hi te nāśam ṛccheyur iti paśyāmy ahaṃ dhiyā ||

Maka, dengan penuh ikhtiar dan waspada, mereka menanti saat yang tepat ketika ia menjelma. Kerana pada pertimbangan akalku, mereka tidak akan menemui kebinasaan—demikianlah yang kupandang dengan penilaian yang jernih.
