क्यों न हो, इस राजपरिवारमें भी तो ये दोनों एक ही समयसे निवास करते हैं?” इस तरहकी बातें कहकर रानी सुदेष्णा प्राय: नित्य मुझे झिड़का करती हैं ।।
krudhyantī māṃ ca samprekṣya samaśaṅkata māṃ tvayi | tasyāṃ tathā bruvatyāṃ tu duḥkhaṃ māṃ mahad āviśat ||
Melihat aku gelisah, permaisuri pun mula mengesyaki aku berhubung denganmu, menyangka ada keterikatan yang tersembunyi. Dan setiap kali dia berkata demikian, dukacita yang besar menyelubungiku—terhimpit antara kewajipan di istana dan pedihnya disalahertikan.
