Adhyāya 8 — Vidura’s Return and the Kaurava Counsel (Āraṇyaka-parva)

ते स्मरन्त: परिक्‍्लेशान्‌ वर्षे पूर्णे त्रयोदशे । विमोक्ष्यन्ति विषं क्रुद्धा: कौरवेयेषु भारत

Wahai Bhārata, apabila tahun ketiga belas genap, mereka akan mengingati segala derita yang ditanggung; lalu dalam murka akan “memuntahkan bisa” ke atas kaum Kaurava—yakni melancarkan serangan senjata yang mematikan laksana racun.
