अनेन वाससाच्छन्न: स्वं रूप॑ प्रतिपत्स्यसे । इत्युक्त्वा प्रददौ तस्मै दिव्यं वासोयुगं तदा,“इस वस्त्रसे आच्छादित होते ही आप अपना पहला रूप प्राप्त कर लेंगे।! ऐसा कहकर नागने उन्हें दो दिव्य वस्त्र प्रदान किये
anena vāsasācchannaḥ svaṃ rūpaṃ pratipatsyase | ity uktvā pradadau tasmai divyaṃ vāsoyugaṃ tadā |
Bṛhadaśva berkata: “Apabila engkau menyelubungi dirimu dengan pakaian ini, engkau akan memperoleh kembali rupa asalmu.” Setelah berkata demikian, baginda pun mengurniakan kepadanya sepasang pakaian yang bersifat ilahi.
