मन्ये तथा तद्‌ भवितेति सूत यथा क्षत्ता प्राह वच: पुरा माम्‌ | असंशयं भविता युद्धमेतद्‌ गते काले पाण्डवानां यथोक्तम्‌,सूत! विदुरने पहले जो बात कही थी, वह अवश्य ही उसी प्रकार होगी, ऐसा मेरा विश्वास है। वनवासका समय व्यतीत होनेपर पाण्डवोंके कथनानुसार यह घोर युद्ध होकर ही रहेगा, इसमें संशय नहीं

Transliteration

manye tathā tad bhavitīti sūta yathā kṣattā prāha vacaḥ purā mām | asaṃśayaṃ bhavitā yuddham etad gate kāle pāṇḍavānāṃ yathoktam, sūta |

Translation

Dhṛtarāṣṭra berkata: “Wahai Sūta, aku percaya hal itu akan terjadi tepat seperti yang pernah dikatakan oleh Vidura kepadaku dahulu. Apabila tempoh yang ditetapkan telah berlalu, perang yang dahsyat ini pasti akan berlaku, sebagaimana yang diisytiharkan oleh Pāṇḍava—tiada keraguan.”
