Sañjaya berkata: Bahkan Kṛṣṇa, apabila melihat putera-putera Pṛthā (anak-anak Kuntī) jatuh ke keadaan sedemikian—berpakaian kulit kijang hitam sebagai kain luar—dipenuhi kemarahan, lalu baginda berkata kepada Yudhiṣṭhira demikian.

The verse highlights righteous indignation (amarṣa) in the face of adharma: when the virtuous are humiliated and forced into hardship, a dharmic response is required—neither passive acceptance of injustice nor uncontrolled rage, but principled action guided by duty and moral order.
Sañjaya narrates that Kṛṣṇa sees the Pāṇḍavas in a reduced, ascetic condition, wearing black antelope-skins as upper garments. Moved to indignation, he begins to speak to Yudhiṣṭhira, setting up counsel and resolve in response to the wrongs done to them.
