दमयन्त्याः व्याकुलता — स्वयंवरसंनिपातः — देवदूतयाचनम्

रामकृष्णप्रणीतानां वृष्णीनां सूतनन्दन । न शक््य: सहितुं वेग: सर्वैस्तैरपि संयुगे,'सूतनन्दन! बलराम और श्रीकृष्णसे प्रेरित वृष्णि-वंशी योद्धाओंके वेगको युद्धमें समस्त कौरव मिलकर भी नहीं सह सकते
rāmakṛṣṇapraṇītānāṁ vṛṣṇīnāṁ sūtanandana | na śakyaḥ sahituṁ vegaḥ sarvais tair api saṁyuge ||
Vaiśampāyana berkata: “Wahai anak kusir, gelora serbuan para pahlawan Vṛṣṇi—yang digerakkan dan dipimpin oleh Balarāma dan Kṛṣṇa—tidak dapat ditahan dalam pertempuran, sekalipun semua pihak lawan bersatu.”
