Mātali’s Arrival and Arjuna’s Ascent toward Amarāvatī (मातलिसंयुक्तरथागमनम् तथा इन्द्रलोकगमनारम्भः)
तत्र साध्यास्तथा विश्वे मरुतो5थाश्विनौ तथा । आदित्या वसवो रुद्रास्तथा ब्रह्मर्षपोडमला:,वहाँ साध्य, विश्वेदेव, मरुद्गण, अश्विनीकुमार, आदित्य, वसु, रुद्र तथा विशुद्ध ब्रह्मर्षिणण और अनेक राजर्षिगण एवं दिलीप आदि बहुत-से राजा, तुम्बुरु, नारद, हाहा, हूहू आदि गन्धर्वगण विराजमान थे
tatra sādhyās tathā viśve maruto ’thāśvinau tathā | ādityā vasavo rudrās tathā brahmarṣayo ’malāḥ ||
Di sana hadir para Sādhya dan Viśvedevas, demikian juga para Marut serta pasangan kembar Aśvin. Para Āditya, Vasu dan Rudra turut berhimpun, bersama para Brahmarṣi yang suci, tanpa noda.
वैशम्पायन उवाच
By listing revered divine groups and pure Brahmarṣis as present, the verse underscores that major events unfold under the gaze of cosmic and ethical authority; dharma is not merely personal but witnessed and upheld by the wider moral universe.
Vaiśampāyana describes an august gathering/assembly where multiple classes of gods and eminent sages are seated together, establishing the grandeur and sanctity of the setting before subsequent actions or discourse.
