Book 3, Chapter 42
नभो वितिमिरं कुर्वज्जलदान् पाटयन्निव । दिश: सम्पूरयन् नादैर्महामेघरवोपमै:,वह रथ आकाशको अन्धकारशून्य मेघोंकी घटाको विदीर्ण और महान् मेघकी गर्जनाके समान गम्भीर शब्दसे दिशाओंको परिपूर्ण-सा कर रहा था
vaiśampāyana uvāca | nabho vitimiraṃ kurvaj jaladān pāṭayann iva | diśaḥ sampūrayan nādair mahāmegharavopamaiḥ |
Vaiśampāyana berkata: “Kereta itu seolah-olah menghalau gelap dari langit, seakan-akan merobek gumpalan awan hujan; dan dengan deru yang dalam seperti guruh—laksana gemuruh awan besar—ia memenuhi segala penjuru dengan bunyi.”
वैशम्पायन उवाच
