Sūrya’s Counsel to Karṇa on Kīrti and the Kuṇḍala

Educational Q&A

Victory should culminate in dharmic governance: rightful consecration of a deserving ruler and reliance on wise counsel and loyal friendship, so that power becomes stable, ethical rule rather than mere domination.

After the conflict, Vibhīṣaṇa is formally anointed to rule the Rākṣasa realm, and Lakṣmaṇa is placed in a trusted ministerial role—signaling the restoration of order through legitimate installation and competent counsel.
