Draupadī’s Rebuke of Jayadratha and Dhaumya’s Admonition (Āraṇyaka-parva, Adhyāya 252)
यत्र हर्षस्त्वया कार्य: सत्कर्तव्याश्व पाण्डवा: । तत्र शोचसि राजेन्द्र विपरीतमिदं तव
yatra harṣas tvayā kāryaḥ satkartavyāś ca pāṇḍavāḥ | tatra śocasi rājendra viparītam idaṃ tava rājendra ||
Vaiśampāyana berkata: “Wahai raja yang terbaik, di tempat engkau sepatutnya bersukacita dan memuliakan para Pāṇḍava, di situlah engkau bersedih. Tingkah lakumu ini, wahai raja, benar-benar berlawanan dengan yang patut.”
