मातापितृपूजन-प्रधानधर्मः (Primacy of Filial Service) — Mārkaṇḍeya’s Account of the Vyādha’s Instruction
तमाविशत् ततो विष्णुर्भगवांस्तेजसा प्रभु: । उत्तड़कस्य नियोगेन लोकानां हितकाम्यया,तदनन्तर उत्तंकके अनुरोधसे सम्पूर्ण जगत्का हित करनेके लिये सर्वसमर्थ भगवान् विष्णुने अपने तेजोमय स्वरूपसे कुवलाश्वमें प्रवेश किया
tam āviśat tato viṣṇur bhagavāṁs tejasā prabhuḥ | uttāḍakasya niyogena lokānāṁ hitakāmyayā ||
Kemudian Tuhan Viṣṇu, Bhagavān yang berdaulat, memasuki baginda dengan kuasa sinar-Nya yang gemilang—atas permintaan Uttāḍaka, demi menginginkan kebajikan bagi segala dunia. Peristiwa ini menegaskan bahawa kuasa ilahi dipohon bukan untuk keuntungan peribadi, melainkan untuk perlindungan dan manfaat semua makhluk.
