तस्मात् त्वं सर्वयत्नेन यतस्वातिथिभोजने । पादोदकं पादघृतं दीपमन्न॑ प्रतिश्रयम्
tasmāt tvaṁ sarvayatnena yatasvātithibhojane | pādodakaṁ pādaghṛtaṁ dīpam annaṁ pratiśrayam |
Oleh itu, hendaklah engkau berusaha dengan segenap daya untuk memuliakan dan menjamu para tetamu. Persembahkan air untuk membasuh kaki, minyak wangi atau ghee untuk kaki, sebuah pelita, makanan, serta tempat berteduh yang wajar—segala adab ini menegakkan dharma dan memelihara ikatan suci antara tuan rumah dan pengembara.
