मनुना च प्रजा: सर्वा: सदेवासुरमानुषा: । स्रष्टव्या: सर्वलोकाश्ष यच्चेड़ं यच्च नेड़ति
manunā ca prajāḥ sarvāḥ sadevāsuramānuṣāḥ | sraṣṭavyāḥ sarvalokāś ca yac cedaṃ yac ca neḍati ||
Mārkaṇḍeya berkata: “Melalui Manu, semua makhluk—para dewa, asura dan manusia—hendaklah dilahirkan, demikian juga segala dunia; bahkan apa sahaja yang wujud di sini, dan apa yang tidak bergerak (yang inert), hendaklah diciptakan.”
