बीजानि चैव सर्वाणि यथोक्तानि द्विजै: पुरा । तस्यामारोहयेनावि सुसंगुप्तानि भागश:,'पूर्वकालमें ब्राह्मणोंने जो सब प्रकारके बीज बताये हैं, उनका पृथक्-पृथक् संग्रह करके उन्हें सुरक्षितरूपसे उस नावपर रख लें
bījāni caiva sarvāṇi yathoktāni dvijaiḥ purā | tasyām ārohaye(n) nāvi susaṃguptāni bhāgaśaḥ ||
“Himpunkanlah segala jenis benih, sebagaimana telah ditetapkan oleh para Brahmana zaman dahulu; kumpulkan tiap-tiapnya secara berasingan, lalu letakkan di atas perahu itu dengan rapi, terlindung dan tersimpan aman.”
