स मत्स्यवचन श्रुत्वा कृपयाभिपरिप्लुत: । मनुर्वैवस्वतो<गृह्नात् तं मत्स्यं पाणिना स्वयम्
sa matsyavacanaṃ śrutvā kṛpayābhipariplutaḥ | manur vaivasvato gṛhṇāt taṃ matsyaṃ pāṇinā svayam ||
Mendengar kata-kata ikan itu, Manu Vaivasvata diliputi belas kasihan; dengan tangannya sendiri baginda mengangkat ikan itu.
