Hiraṇyapura Described and the Deployment of the Raudra Weapon
तेन तेषां प्रणुन्नानामाशुत्वाच्छीघ्रगामिनाम् । नान्वपश्यं तदा किंचित् तन्मे5द्भुतमिवा भवत्
tena teṣāṃ praṇunnānām āśutvāc chīghragāminām | nānvapaśyaṃ tadā kiṃcit tan me 'dbhūtam ivābhavat |
Arjuna berkata: “Kerana mereka didorong maju demikian, dan kerana kepantasan mereka yang meluru laju, pada ketika itu aku tidak dapat melihat apa-apa pun. Hal itu terasa bagiku seperti suatu keajaiban.”
अजुन उवाच
The verse highlights the limits of ordinary perception: when events move with overwhelming speed and force, even a skilled observer may fail to discern details, and the mind registers the experience as ‘adbhuta’ (wondrous/astonishing).
Arjuna narrates that certain beings or forces, once impelled onward, moved so swiftly that he could not clearly perceive anything at that moment; he reports his astonishment at this extraordinary occurrence.
