अनुग्रहो मे सुमहांस्तृप्तिश्न तव दर्शनात्‌ । एकं तु कृतमिच्छामि त्वयाद्य प्रियमात्मन:

anugraho me sumahāṁs tṛptiś ca tava darśanāt | ekaṁ tu kṛtam icchāmi tvayādya priyam ātmanaḥ ||

Vaiśampāyana berkata: “Sungguh besar kurnia yang telah engkau limpahkan kepadaku, dan dengan melihatmu sahaja aku sudah puas. Namun hari ini aku memohon satu lagi kebaikan daripadamu—sesuatu yang dekat dan berharga di hatiku.”
