Bhīma–Hanūmān Dialogue on Yugas (युगवर्णनम्)
हनूमानुवाच वानरोऊहं न ते मार्ग प्रदास्यामि यथेप्सितम् | साधु गच्छ निवर्तस्व मा त्वं प्राप्स्यसि वैशसम्,हनुमानजी बोले--भैया! मैं वानर हूँ। तुम्हें तुम्हारी इच्छाके अनुसार मार्ग नहीं दूँगा। अच्छा तो यह होगा कि तुम यहींसे लौट जाओ, नहीं तो तुम्हारे प्राण संकटमें पड़ जायँगे
hanūmān uvāca | vānaro ’haṃ na te mārgaṃ pradāsyāmi yathepsitam | sādhu gaccha nivartasva mā tvaṃ prāpsyasi vaiśasam ||
Hanuman berkata: “Aku ini seorang vanara; aku tidak akan memberi laluan seperti yang engkau kehendaki. Lebih baik engkau berpatah balik dari sini. Jangan berdegil—kalau tidak, engkau akan ditimpa malapetaka dan nyawamu sendiri akan terancam.”
