Dyūta-doṣa-prakāśana — Kṛṣṇa’s Critique of Gambling and the Exile Crisis
एवमादि महाराज विलप्य दिवमास्थित: । कामगेन स सौभेन क्षिप्त्वा मां कुरुनन्दन,कुरुनन्दन! महाराज! इस प्रकार शिशुपालके लिये विलाप करके मुझपर आक्षेप करता हुआ वह इच्छानुसार चलनेवाले सौभ विमानद्वारा आकाशमें ठहरा हुआ था
evam-ādi mahārāja vilapya divam āsthitaḥ | kāma-gena sa saubhena kṣiptvā māṃ kuru-nandana ||
Wahai raja agung, setelah meratap dengan kata-kata demikian dan lain-lain lagi, dia tetap bertahan di langit. Kemudian, wahai kebanggaan Kuru, setelah melemparkan tuduhan terhadapku, dia terus melayang tinggi dengan kereta udara Saubha yang dapat bergerak ke mana sahaja menurut kehendak penunggangnya.
श्रीकृष्ण उवाच
The verse highlights how grief and resentment can lead one to hurl blame even at the righteous; ethically, it cautions that lamentation and accusation do not resolve wrongdoing, and that power or extraordinary means (like a wish-moving aerial car) do not purify an agitated mind.
After lamenting for Śiśupāla and speaking at length, the speaker describes an antagonist remaining in the sky, using the Saubha vimāna that moves at will, while directing reproach toward Kṛṣṇa.
