यवक्रीत-वधः

The Slaying of Yavakrīta at Raibhya’s Hermitage

ततस्तं समुपास्थाय कृत्या सृष्टा महात्मना । कमण्डलुं जहारास्य मोहयित्वेव भारत,भारत! महामना रैभ्यकी रची हुई कृत्यारूप सुन्दरी नारीने पहले यवक्रीतके पास उपस्थित हो उसे मोहमें डालकर उसका कमण्डलु हर लिया

tatastaṃ samupāsthāya kṛtyā sṛṣṭā mahātmanā | kamaṇḍaluṃ jahārāsya mohayitveva bhārata ||

Wahai Bhārata! Kṛtyā—perbuatan sihir yang menjelma, dicipta oleh insan berhati agung itu—mendekatinya, lalu seolah-olah menjerumuskannya ke dalam khayal, merampas kamaṇḍalu, bekas airnya.
