वैशम्पायन उवाच
The verse teaches inseparability and shared identity: the speaker frames the relationship as so unified that ‘difference’ cannot be meaningfully established, emphasizing steadfast solidarity and mutual belonging as an ethical ideal.
Vaiśampāyana, as narrator, reports a declaration addressed to Pārtha (Arjuna), praising him as ‘bharatarṣabha’ and asserting that the two parties are mutually non-different, highlighting an intimate bond that supports the unfolding duties and choices in the forest narrative.
