Educational Q&A

The verse teaches steadfast trust in the truth and efficacy of the Lord’s word: what is spoken by Madhusūdana is certain to be fulfilled, so grief and anxiety should be relinquished in favor of faith and composure.

Vāsudeva addresses a distressed lady (devī), consoling her and stopping her tears by affirming that Kṛṣṇa’s declared outcome will inevitably occur exactly as stated, without deviation.
