The verse highlights the moral-spiritual principle that true ascetic power and realized wisdom (represented by Agastya) command reverence across realms; when guided by such dharmic authority, diverse powers can unite toward an ordered, purposeful end.
Lomaśa narrates that Agastya, accompanied by gods, Gandharvas, mighty Nāgas, and eminent sages, reaches the great ocean—setting the stage for an important event connected with Agastya and the sea.
