कण्वोपदेशः—नश्वरबलविवेकः तथा मातलिगुणकेश्याः आख्यानारम्भः

तस्य तानस्यतो घोरानिषून् परतनुच्छिद:
tasya tān asyato ghorān iṣūn paratanu-cchidaḥ
Tatkala baginda melepaskan anak-anak panah yang menggerunkan itu—panah yang mampu menetak tubuh musuh—pertembungan pun kian memuncak, dan bahaya mendekat tanpa ampun.
