Omens and Reception During Keśava’s Departure

अथापश्यन्महाबाहुर््बषीन ध्वनि केशव: । ब्राह्मयया श्रिया दीप्यमानान्‌ स्थितानुभयत: पथि,तदनन्तर महाबाह श्रीकृष्णने मार्गमें कुछ महर्षियोंको उपस्थित देखा, जो रास्तेके दोनों ओर खड़े थे और ब्रह्मतेजसे प्रकाशित हो रहे थे

athāpaśyan mahābāhur ṛṣīn dhvani keśavaḥ | brāhmyayā śriyā dīpyamānān sthitān ubhayataḥ pathi ||

Vaiśampāyana berkata: Kemudian Keśava, yang berlengan perkasa, melihat para resi berdiri di kedua-dua sisi jalan, bersinar dengan kemuliaan brahman. Kehadiran mereka di laluan itu menjadi saksi moral dan rohani terhadap misi politik yang sedang berlangsung, mengingatkan para pengembara bahawa kuasa dan siasah mesti diukur menurut dharma serta kewibawaan pandangan para pertapa.
