Educational Q&A

The verse highlights decisive, duty-oriented action in a charged ethical setting: leadership expresses itself through purposeful movement and readiness, signaling commitment to one’s allies and to the course of dharma as events move toward conflict.

Vaiśampāyana narrates that Kṛṣṇa seats Sātyaki on the chariot and departs. The chariot’s thunderous sound is described as reverberating through earth and sky, emphasizing the gravity and momentum of the unfolding mission in the Udyoga Parva.
