Udyoga Parva, Adhyāya 72 — Bhīmasena’s counsel on conciliation and Duryodhana’s disposition
ये तत्रासन् समानीतास्ते दृष्टवा त्वामनागसम् । अश्रुकण्ठा रुदन्तश्न॒ सभायामासते तदा
ye tatrāsan samānītās te dṛṣṭvā tvām anāgasam | aśrukaṇṭhā rudantaś ca sabhāyām āsate tadā ||
Mereka yang telah dibawa ke sana, apabila melihat engkau—tidak bersalah dan tidak layak diperlakukan demikian—tersekat-sekat dengan air mata. Sambil menangis, mereka duduk di balairung pada waktu itu, ditimpa dukacita dan kegelisahan moral atas ketidakadilan yang terpampang di hadapan mereka.
