Dvārakāyāṃ Sāhāyya-vibhāgaḥ (Alliance Allocation at Dvārakā) / उद्योगपर्व अध्याय ७
भवांस्तु कीर्तिमॉल्लोके तद् यशस्त्वां गमिष्यति । यशसां चाहमप्यर्थी तस्मादसि मया वृत:,परंतु आप संसारमें यशस्वी हैं। आप जहाँ भी रहेंगे, वह यश आपका ही अनुसरण करेगा। मुझे भी यशकी इच्छा है ही; इसीलिये मैंने आपका वरण किया है
bhavāṁstu kīrtimāṁl loke tad yaśas tvāṁ gamiṣyati | yaśasāṁ cāham apy arthī tasmād asi mayā vṛtaḥ ||
Arjuna berkata: “Tuan termasyhur di dunia; ke mana pun tuan berada, kemasyhuran itu akan mengiringi tuan. Aku juga mendambakan kemuliaan; sebab itulah aku memilih tuan.”
