Udyoga Parva 63: Dhṛtarāṣṭra’s Counsel Reminding Duryodhana of Opponent Strength
एवं ये ज्ञातयो<र्थषु मिथो गच्छन्ति विग्रहम् तेडमित्रवशमायान्ति शकुनाविव विग्रहात्
evaṁ ye jñātayo 'rtheṣu mitho gacchanti vigraham | te 'mitravaśam āyānti śakunāv iva vigrahāt ||
Demikianlah juga, kaum kerabat yang kerana harta dan milik jatuh ke dalam pertengkaran dan permusuhan akhirnya akan berada di bawah kuasa musuh—seperti dua ekor burung yang, kerana berkelahi, menjadi mangsa mudah.
