पृथगक्षौहिणी भ्यां तु पाण्डवानभिसंश्रितौ | महारथौ समाख्यातावुभौ पुरुषमानिनौ,अपनेको पौरुषशाली वीर माननेवाले वे दोनों विख्यात महारथी अलग-अलग एक-एक अक्षौहिणी सेनाके साथ पाण्डवोंकी सहायताके लिये आये हैं
pṛthag akṣauhiṇībhyāṃ tu pāṇḍavān abhiśaṃśritau | mahārathau samākhyātāv ubhau puruṣamāninau ||
Sañjaya berkata: “Dua maharathi yang termasyhur itu—masing-masing berbangga akan keperwiraannya—datang secara berasingan, setiap seorang membawa satu divisi akṣauhiṇī yang lengkap, lalu berpihak menyokong Pāṇḍava.”
संजय उवाच
