Educational Q&A

The verse highlights how leaders marshal renowned teachers and vowed warrior-bands to strengthen their side; ethically, it reflects the Kṣatriya world where duty, loyalty, and military organization are treated as decisive forces, even when the larger cause may be morally fraught.

Duryodhana is describing (or directing) the placement of key fighters—Droṇa, Aśvatthāmā, and Kṛpa—along with the Saṁśaptaka Kṣatriya contingents, emphasizing the readiness and strength of his martial lineup.
