Bhishma’s Account of Parashurama’s Challenge and the March to Kurukshetra

ततस्तु लब्धसंज्ञो5हं ज्ञात्वा सूतमथाब्रुवम्‌ । याहि सूत यतो राम: सज्जो5हं गतवेदन:,इतनेहीमें मुझे चेत हो गया और सब कुछ जानकर मैंने सारथिसे कहा--'सूत! जहाँ परशुरामजी हैं, वहीं चलो। मेरी पीड़ा दूर हो गयी है और अब मैं युद्धके लिये सुसज्जित हूँ"

tatastu labdhasaṁjño ’haṁ jñātvā sūtam athābruvam | yāhi sūta yato rāmaḥ sajjo ’haṁ gatavedanaḥ ||

Kemudian, setelah aku sedar kembali dan memahami apa yang telah berlaku, aku berkata kepada sais: “Wahai sais, bawa aku ke tempat Rāma (Paraśurāma) berada. Kesakitanku telah reda, dan kini aku siap untuk bertempur.”
