अर्जुन वासुदेवं च ये चान्ये तत्र पार्थिवा: । सर्वास्तान्‌ वारयिष्यामि यावद्‌ द्रक्ष्यामि भारत,भारत! अर्जुन, श्रीकृष्ण तथा अन्य जो-जो भूपाल हैं, मैं उनमेंसे जितनोंको देखूँगा, उन सबको आगे बढ़नेसे रोक दूँगा

arjunaṃ vāsudevaṃ ca ye cānye tatra pārthivāḥ | sarvāṃs tān vārayiṣyāmi yāvad drakṣyāmi bhārata ||

Bhīṣma berkata: “Arjuna dan Vāsudeva, serta mana-mana raja lain yang ada di sana—selama aku masih dapat melihat mereka, wahai Bhārata, akan kutahan semuanya dan kuhalang kemaraan mereka.”
