Bhishma’s appraisal of Pandava-aligned chariot-warriors
The verse highlights satya (truthfulness) and the moral authority of accurate counsel: a wise assessment, especially from an elder like Bhīṣma, should be acknowledged as reliable and not dismissed in moments of political or martial tension.
Within Bhīṣma’s narration, Droṇa responds to what has just been stated, affirming that the statement is correct and never false—signaling agreement among senior Kuru leaders as deliberations move toward the great war.
