tam uvāca tato rājā dhṛtarāṣṭraḥ pratāpavān | māṁ samīkṣasva gāḍeya kārya hi mahad udyatam ||
Lalu Raja Dhṛtarāṣṭra yang gagah perkasa berkata kepadanya: “Wahai Gāṅgeya, pandanglah ke arah beta. Suatu usaha besar kini terbentang di hadapan kita.”
भीष्म उवाच
A ruler must seek wise attention and counsel when a grave public decision is imminent; the verse highlights the ethical weight of state action and the need to consult elders like Bhīṣma before proceeding.
