भीकम (2 अमान सप्तषष्ट्याधेकशततमो< ध्याय: कौरवपक्षके रथी, महारथी और अतिरथियोंका वर्णन भीष्म उवाच शकुनिर्मातुलस्तेड्सौ रथ एको नराधिप । प्रयुज्य पाण्डवैवैर योत्स्यते नात्र संशय:,भीष्मने कहा--नरेश्वर! यह तुम्हारा मामा शकुनि भी एक रथी है। यह पाण्डवोंसे वैर बाँधकर युद्ध करेगा, इसमें संशय नहीं है

bhīṣma uvāca | śakunir mātulas te ’sau rathī eko narādhipa | prayujya pāṇḍavair vairam yotsyate nātra saṁśayaḥ ||

Bhīṣma berkata: “Wahai raja, Shakuni—bapa saudara sebelah ibu tuanku—ialah seorang pahlawan kereta perang (rathī). Setelah mengikat permusuhan terhadap para Pāṇḍava, dia pasti akan berperang; tiada keraguan tentang hal itu.”
