भीष्मस्य सेनापत्यप्रतिज्ञा तथा रथसंख्यावर्णनम् | Bhishma Accepts Command and Enumerates Kaurava Strength

सर्वेषां राजपुत्राणामभिमन्युरसंशयम्‌ । कर्मणा तोषयिष्यामि भूयश्चैव वच: शृणु,“इसी प्रकार सारे राजकुमारोंकी मृत्युका कारण अभिमन्यु होगा, इसमें संशय नहीं है। मैं अपने पराक्रमद्वारा तुझे अवश्य संतुष्ट करूँगा। तू मेरी एक बात और सुन ले

sarveṣāṁ rājaputrāṇām abhimanyur asaṁśayam | karmaṇā toṣayiṣyāmi bhūyaś caiva vacaḥ śṛṇu ||

Sañjaya said: “Of all the princes, Abhimanyu will surely be the cause of their death—there is no doubt. By my own prowess I will satisfy you; and now, listen to one more word of mine.”
