भीष्मस्य सेनापत्यप्रतिज्ञा तथा रथसंख्यावर्णनम् | Bhishma Accepts Command and Enumerates Kaurava Strength

श्वोभूते कत्थनावाक्यं विज्ञास्यति सुयोधन: । आचितं शरजालेन मया दृष्टवा पितामहम्‌,“कल खबेरे पितामहको मेरे द्वारा चलाये हुए बाणोंके समूहसे व्याप्त देखकर दुर्योधनको अपनी बढ़-बढ़कर कही हुई बातोंका परिणाम ज्ञात होगा

sañjaya uvāca | śvobhūte katthanāvākyaṃ vijñāsyati suyodhanaḥ | ācitaṃ śarajālena mayā dṛṣṭvā pitāmaham |

Sañjaya berkata: “Esok Suyodhana akan mengerti akibat kata-kata bongkaknya, apabila dia melihat datuk agung itu diselubungi jaring anak panah yang kulepaskan.”
