Educational Q&A

Even in moments of escalating conflict, dharmic conduct is shown through proper protocol—taking leave of elders and proceeding with clarity of purpose. The verse highlights disciplined transition from deliberation to action without abandoning respect for senior authority.

The speaker narrates that the leading Kuru figure dismisses Bhīṣma and other principal Kurus, then places Karṇa on a chariot and departs with Sātyaki, indicating coordinated movement and strategic urgency as events move toward war.
