उद्योगपर्व — अध्याय १३५: कुन्त्याः कृष्णं प्रति संदेशः
Kuntī’s Message to Kṛṣṇa
कुन्त्युवाच सदश्व इव स क्षिप्त: प्रणुन्नो वाक्यसायकै: । तच्चकार तथा सर्व यथावदनुशासनम्
kuntī uvāca sadaśva iva sa kṣiptaḥ praṇunno vākyasāyakaiḥ | tac cakāra tathā sarvaṃ yathāvad anuśāsanam ||
Kuntī berkata: “Dipukul dan didorong oleh kata-kataku yang laksana anak panah, dia terpacu bertindak seperti kuda unggul yang disebat cemeti. Maka, dia melaksanakan seluruh ajaran yang kuberikan dengan tertib dan tanpa menyimpang.”
पुत्र उवाच
Forceful yet principled speech can function as a moral spur: when counsel is given for dharma, it should be accepted and executed precisely (yathāvat), without distortion or delay.
Kuntī describes how her sharp admonitions—likened to arrows—compelled the listener (Sañjaya) to act promptly, and how he then followed her entire instruction exactly as directed.
