नित्यं स्वाहा स्वधा नित्यं दद्युर्मानुषदेवता: । दीर्घमायुर्धन॑ पुत्रान्‌ सम्यगाराधिता: शुभा:,कल्याणकारी ब्राह्मणोंकी भलीभाँति आराधना करनेपर वे भी सदा देवयज्ञ, पितृयज्ञ, दीर्घायु, धन और पुत्रोंकी प्राप्तिके लिये ही आशीर्वाद देते थे

nityaṃ svāhā svadhā nityaṃ dadyur mānuṣadevatāḥ | dīrgham āyur dhanaṃ putrān samyag ārādhitāḥ śubhāḥ ||

Vāyu berkata: “Sentiasa mereka melafazkan ‘svāhā’, sentiasa ‘svadhā’; dan para dewa yang membawa kebaikan, yang mengurus hal-ehwal manusia, apabila dipuja dengan benar, mengurniakan berkat bagi penopang hidup yang benar—umur panjang, kekayaan, dan anak lelaki.”
