Udyoga Parva, Adhyāya 13: Śacī’s Delay, Deva-Counsel, and Indra’s Purification
नहुषसे विदा लेकर शुभलक्षणा यशस्विनी शची उस स्थानसे निकली और पुनः बृहस्पतिजीके भवनमें चली गयी ।। तस्या: संश्रुत्य च वचो देवाश्नाग्निपुरोगमा: । चिन्तयामासुरेकाग्रा: शक्रार्थ राजसत्तम,नृपश्रेष्ठ! इन्द्राणीकी बात सुनकर अग्नि आदि सब देवता एकाग्रचित्त होकर इन्द्रकी खोज करनेके लिये आपसमें विचार करने लगे
tasyāḥ saṁśrutya ca vaco devāś cāgnipurogamāḥ | cintayāmāsur ekāgrāḥ śakrārthaṁ rājasattama ||
Setelah mendengar kata-kata Śacī, para dewa—dipimpin oleh Agni—menjadi seia sekata dan mula bermusyawarah bersama, dengan tekad untuk mencari Śakra (Indra).
