संनिधौ ते महाराज क्रोधजं पापबुद्धिजम् । 'परंतु भारत! महाराज! आपके समीप मैं क्रोध अथवा पापबुद्धिसे होनेवाला यह निन्दित कर्म नहीं प्रारम्भ करूँगा
sannidhau te mahārāja krodhajaṁ pāpabuddhijam |
“Namun, wahai keturunan Bharata, wahai Maharaja, di hadapan tuanku sendiri aku tidak akan memulakan perbuatan yang tercela ini—perbuatan yang lahir daripada amarah dan berpunca daripada niat berdosa.”
