Adhyāya 128 — Proposal to Restrain Keśava; Sātyaki’s Warning and Vidura–Dhṛtarāṣṭra Counsel

गच्छ तात महाप्राज्ञां गान्धारीं दीर्घदर्शिनीम्‌ । आनयेह तया सार्धमनुनेष्यामि दुर्मतिम्‌

gaccha tāta mahāprājñāṃ gāndhārīṃ dīrghadarśinīm | ānayeha tayā sārdham anuneṣyāmi durmatim ||

Vaiśampāyana berkata: “Pergilah, wahai anak, dan bawalah ke mari Gandhārī—yang bijaksana dan berpandangan jauh. Dengan dia di sisiku, aku akan cuba menasihati serta mengekang lelaki yang berniat jahat itu.”
