भीष्मद्रोणयोर्दुर्योधनं प्रति शान्त्युपदेशः | Bhīṣma and Droṇa’s Counsel to Duryodhana for Pacification

कृष्णेन वाक्यमुक्तोडसि सुह्दां शममिच्छता । अन्वपद्यस्व तत्‌ तात मा मन्युवशमन्वगा:,“तात! भगवान्‌ श्रीकृष्णने सुहृदोंमें परस्पर शान्ति बनाये रखनेकी इच्छासे जो बात कही है, उसे स्वीकार करो। क्रोधके वशीभूत न होओ

vaiśampāyana uvāca |

kṛṣṇena vākyam ukto ’si suhṛdāṃ śamam icchatā |

anvapadyasva tat tāta mā manyuvaśam anvagāḥ ||

“Wahai anak, terimalah dan ikutilah nasihat yang diucapkan oleh Kṛṣṇa, yang menghendaki damai di antara para sahabat yang berhati baik. Jangan biarkan dirimu dikuasai amarah.”
