kruddhasya bhīmasenasya prekṣituṃ mukham āhave |
Vaiśampāyana berkata: “Engkau, bersama semua raja ini, di medan perang pun tidak mampu mengangkat mata untuk memandang wajah Bhīmasena ketika dia murka.”
वैशम्पायन उवाच
The verse highlights how uncontrolled wrath, especially in a warrior of immense power, becomes a force that intimidates and morally overawes others; it implicitly warns that anger can dominate a battlefield as much as weapons do.
The narrator describes Bhīmasena in a state of battle-rage, emphasizing that his furious expression is so formidable that opponents (and even others present) cannot bring themselves to look directly at his face.
