अध्याय १२२ — कृष्णस्य दुर्योधनं प्रति नीत्युपदेशः

Kṛṣṇa’s Ethical Counsel to Duryodhana

उपगीतोपनृत्तश्न गन्धर्वाप्सरसां गणै: । प्रीत्या प्रतिगृहीतश्च स्वर्गे दुन्दुभिनि:स्वनै:

upagītopanṛttaś ca gandharvāpsarasāṁ gaṇaiḥ | prītyā pratigṛhītaś ca svarge dundubhiniḥsvanaiḥ ||

Nārada berkata: “Baginda dihiburkan dengan nyanyian dan tarian oleh rombongan Gandharva dan Apsara; dan di syurga baginda disambut penuh kasih sayang di tengah gemuruh bunyi gendang duṇḍubhi yang bergema. Pemandangan itu memperlihatkan bagaimana jasa kebajikan dimuliakan: kegembiraan dan penghormatan menjadi balasan yang layak bagi insan yang telah meraih kemuliaan.”
