Udyoga-parva 10
त्वं प्रभु: सर्वदेवानां त्वया सर्वमिदं ततम् । त्वं हि देवो महादेव सर्वलोकनमस्कृत:,“आप ही सम्पूर्ण देवताओंके स्वामी हैं। आपसे ही यह समस्त चराचर जगत् व्याप्त है। महादेव! आप ही अखिलविश्ववन्दित देवता हैं
tvaṁ prabhuḥ sarvadevānāṁ tvayā sarvam idaṁ tatam | tvaṁ hi devo mahādeva sarvalokanamaskṛtaḥ ||
Śalya melagukan pujian: “Engkaulah penguasa segala dewa; olehmu seluruh alam semesta ini meresap dan meliputi. Sesungguhnya engkaulah Tuhan—Mahādeva—yang disembah dan dihormati oleh semua dunia.”
शल्य उवाच
The verse teaches devotion grounded in metaphysical vision: the supreme deity (Mahādeva) is the lord of the gods and the all-pervading reality, so reverence and humility are appropriate responses to the source of cosmic order.
Śalya speaks in praise, addressing Mahādeva with exalted epithets—lord of all gods, pervader of the universe, worshipped by all worlds—forming part of a devotional or propitiatory utterance within the Udyoga Parva context.
