गच्छध्वमृषिभि: सार्ध गन्धर्वैश्व सुरोत्तमा: । वृत्रस्य सह शक्रेण सन्धिं कुरुत मा चिरम्‌,देवेश्वरगण! तुमलोग ऋषियों तथा गन्धर्वोके साथ जाओ और इन्द्रके साथ वृत्रासुरकी संधि कराओ। इसमें विलम्ब न करो

gacchadhvam ṛṣibhiḥ sārdhaṃ gandharvaiś ca surottamāḥ | vṛtrasya saha śakreṇa sandhiṃ kuruta mā ciram, deveśvaragaṇa ||

Śalya berkata: “Pergilah segera, wahai para dewa yang mulia, bersama para resi dan para Gandharva. Jangan berlengah; aturkan perdamaian antara Vṛtra dan Śakra (Indra), wahai perhimpunan para penguasa ilahi.”
